Mindful weaving

Make your own weaving loom and improve you well being. As you a weaving thing of the thing you love, the things you are grateful for and positive thoughts about yourself.

The power of gratitude lies in its ability to shift focus from what is lacking to what is already present. When we practice gratitude, we train our minds to identify and appreciate the positive aspects of our lives. This shift in perspective can lead to increased feelings of happiness, contentment, and overall well-being. By acknowledging and expressing thanks for the good things we have, we cultivate a mindset of abundance and positivity. This simple yet profound practice has the potential to transform our outlook on life and enhance our mental and emotional resilience.

Positive thoughts helps to shift our perspective and improve our overall well-being. By focusing on the good in every situation, we can cultivate a sense of gratitude and optimism that can help us navigate challenges with resilience and hope. Take a moment to acknowledge the positive aspects of your life today, no matter how small they may seem. Remember, positivity is a choice that can lead to a more fulfilling and joyful existence.

As you are weaving your think of, things you love, things you are grateful for and positive thoughts.

Draw and cut out a circle about 10cm wide. You can use an old box out of the recycling bin. The dived in to eight and cut in the edge about 4mm. Then poke a hole in the center to thread your string through. Chose four coloured strings about a meter in diameter and tie a small stick half way. then thread through the center. Then spread the eight string around the edge. You have to choose one thread to get cut away leaving you with only 7. Each time you count back 3 threads and move them into the empty space. As you weave gentle pull on the stick. Keep going until there is no more string. You can then tie the band around your writs or use the thread as a book mark.

As you get the hang of this process you can think of positive thoughts, things you love and what you are grateful for. When you have finished you have something to remind you of all these things you are grateful for.

I will add a video to help understand the process. Once you get the hang of it, you will find it a simple process. Like anything new it may seem hard at first. It can take about an hour to finish. Please feel free to email an image if you give this ago.
